How to Make Paper Collars

Paper Collar Jewelry Displays

We are always looking for fun and innovative ideas to show you how easy it is to add dimension and interest to your jewelry displays. By simply adding a strip if cardstock paper and a brad embellishment around the neck of the display, you can give the illusion of a shirt collar.

As we enter into the fall and winter season, you will likely have a variety of new inventory to show your customers. Present your new styles with a fun twist to your traditional displays. The use of contrasting colors and prints on the display adds a bold look and can draw attention to the piece of jewelry. Keep the collars square for a more traditional shirt look or round the corners to create the look of a more casual shirt.

To create this look you only need a few items:

  • Paper cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Brad embellishment (scrapbook accessory)
  • Double sided tape
  • Necklace Display

Cut a 1 ½" wide strip of paper lengthwise down a piece of cardstock. Wrap it around the neck of the display. Cut to size. Attach the paper collar ends together with a piece of double sided tape or a brad embellishment.
